Labyrinths are ancient mindfulness pathways that date back thousands of years.
Finger labyrinths recreate the experience of walking a labyrinth.
The Boeckler Garden Maze Finger Labyrinth is a modification of a garden maze featured in the 1664 book “Architectura Curiosa Nova” by G. A. Boeckler. It is also similar to garden mazes by the 16th century architect Jacques du Cerceau.
The original maze was multi-cursal and featured a circle set within a square. The four small alcoves were resting places. This version is unicursal with a multi-tempo pathway to the center.
