Labyrinths are ancient mindfulness pathways that date back thousands of years.
Finger labyrinths recreate the experience of walking a labyrinth.
The Reims Cathedral Finger Labyrinth was part of the floor stones in the nave of the cathedral in Reims, France - the traditional coronation place of French kings.
The ancient labyrinth featured the figures of master masons in the corner alcoves and at the center. Medieval pilgrims walked the labyrinth on their knees. The original was lost in the late 1700’s, and now is replaced by a replica that is projected on the floor during festivals and other special occasions.
